BOTOX

Classic beauty is frozen in time. Botox® is used to treat severe to mild lines on the forehead and around the eyes. Botox can also be used to feminize or soften the facial structure in women by being injected along the jawline for a reduction in definition and mass.

What is Botox?

Neuromodulators, or muscle relaxants such as Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin® are used strategically to relax certain muscles that convey a negative connotation, and to ‘wake up’ other muscles that convey a positive expression.

Botox® Cosmetic is the number one aesthetic procedure in the world, for no other reason than it works! Patients decide to get a muscle relaxant such as Botox® or Dysport® for a number of reasons. When using these muscle relaxers, there is usually no downtime associated with them, which means that no one has to know unless you choose to tell them.  The results appear gradually and disappear gradually, making the results subtle, yet dramatic.

Treatment areas: forehead, glabella, brow lift, crow's feet, marionette lines, lip flip, gummy smile, platysmal bands of neck (nefertiti lift)

How Long Does Botox Last?

Every patient is different depending on his or her metabolism of Botox. Most patients find their Botox injections last around 3-4 months. Certain patients metabolize Botox faster than others leaving them with Botox’s effects for 2-3 months, while others have the amazing benefit for up to 6 months. Over time Botox can fatigue the muscle allowing for less movement after the Botox wears off, resulting in more time between injections.
